what is approximate expenditure for doing CAT?is approximately one hundred and fifty thousand.

Does the Course follow a semester system? There is no conventional semester system. Students take up and study two courses every 3 months. At the end of this interval they are required to sit for online exams (CBEs). This is the case for the first four courses. However, as far as the last five courses are concerned,the exams follow a written or manual format.

Is the UK registration fee included in the Admission fee? No. The UK registration fee of 60 pounds is paid separately once the classes have begun.

Can the credits for the CAT course transferred to the UK?
Yes.

Does SKANS provide scholarships or any other kind of financial assistance for those students who
wish to continue their ACCA studies abroad? No. All study abroad will have to be self-financed. However, our institution provides guidelines to assist the student in applying to LCA (London College of Accountancy). This does not include financial assistance.

What is CAT? CAT stands for ‘Certified Accountant Technician.

What is the criteria for admission to CAT ? For admission to CAT, there is no specific educational requirement. The only Requirement is at least 16 years of age. Usually, students with Metric or Intermediate/ O level certificates are enrolled to CAT.

Can I take admission to CAT, while I am not of 16 years yet? You can take admission for studying the courses but you will be registered by The ACCA England when you reach the age limit set by them. Secondly, you can only Sit for the examination when you are registered.

How much time does the ACCA England take to register a student? Usually, they take six to eight weeks to register a student.

How much time do I require to complete CAT? Maximum 1-1/2 years

Do I get some exemption for admission to ACCA, after completion of CAT? Yes. After completion of CAT, Part-1 of ACCA (knowledge Module) is exempted.

Can I join ACCA courses during my studies at CAT.? Yes. After successful completion of first five papers, you can join Part-I of ACCA. But remember, it is not advised by good teachers. It is because the last papers at CAT Serve as the foundation for the advance level courses at ACCA.

How are the examinations conducted? On line Computer Based Examinations (CB’s) for first four papers, while written Exams are conducted for the last five papers by the British Council.

What is the fee structure for CAT?There are two types of fee payable to ACCA and SKANS
